Dit evenement is enkel voor leden van V-ICT-OR. Je vindt hier meer informatie over dit groepsabonnement en de samenwerking met onze partner BELTUG.

We are pleased to invite you to the BELTUG Member Forum, where we will share with your our positions & activities, including the feedback we have received from you and from our peers.

We have been very busy following up on your priorities for the year, and the topics we have covered include recommendations on mobile data, DDOS and billing. We will explore the pros and cons of Mobile Device Management. We have a special speaker from the BIPT who will talk about the 4G network. Finally, Allen & Overy will explain how to comply with Belgium’s recent data breach notification recommendation.

Afterwards, we will welcome you to our Summer Cocktail, where you can socialise and network with your peers and the BELTUG team.

How to comply with Belgium’s data breach notification recommendation

Following a number of data breaches in Belgium, the Belgian Privacy Commission issued a recommendation on security measures and introduced a data breach notification duty for businesses. This action is extraordinary, as the Belgian data protection act does not yet contain an express data breach notification. What do you need to do to prepare to comply with the recommendation?
